What's the problem?
Vegan options for eating out in Kingston and Surbiton have become more limited in recent years - with Riverside Vegetaria and Wags n Tails closing, we're limited to omni pubs and chain restaurants with one or two dishes.
Avocado on toast for brunch. Sorbet for dessert - if you're lucky. Sometimes even the chips are cooked in animal fat. And the places that were good are reducing their vegan menus.
Dreaming of a vegan utopia
I want to bring delicious food to your doorstep: so good your friends and family are up for going vegan for a meal (or two!), and no trek into town required.
What I'm doing
To start with, I'm working on a series of test events to explore what works. The method may evolve, but the vision will remain!
Ultimately, I'd love to create a vegan cafe/restaurant that has regular 'takeovers' from up and coming chefs. For foodies who won't compromise on quality. And maybe we'll even encourage a few omnis to eat vegan more often.

I'm very grateful to everyone who's shared what they'd like to see in the area so far. There's quite a list shaping up:
Something more exciting than what you make at home
Better brunch options (though we love the old classic of avo on toast)
Thoughtful, well-cooked food, with shout-outs for Carribbean, West African, Malaysian and Oyster Mushroom 'fried chicken'
Sweet treats and desserts (including gluten free) - we're over sorbet, thank you!
Good cheese
A fully vegan place
I'd love to hear what you think!
